Arkansas Medical School to Use Video Conference Scheduling Program to Improve State’s Health

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) will use Renovo’s Video Scheduler, an advanced video conference scheduling platform, to schedule, automate and manage its interactive video conferencing network. UAMS uses video conferencing for distance learning, telehealth, and collaborative purposes. Video Scheduler will also be used to send automated notices, configure MCU load balancing, monitor and maintain live network usage, create detailed reports, and more.

In addition to its hospital and clinics, UAMS includes a graduate school, five colleges, eight area health education centers and seven institutes. Under the leadership of UAMS, the Center for Rural Health and Center for Distance Health offer rural Arkansas access to healthcare specialists, teachers, and researchers through interactive video to those living too far away from providers.
