The Northeast Texas Distance Learning Consortium, Tyler NETnet, has entered into a licensing agreement with Renovo Software to develop a custom capability for Renovo's video conference scheduling platform, Video Scheduler.

Renovo Software’s customer, the Northeast Texas Distance Learning Consortium (Tyler NETnet), has deployed the device automation licensing for Renovo’s Video Scheduler to schedule, automate and manage their Adtran 4303 Switch. Renovo developed this capability specifically for Tyler NETnet to be able to manage their legacy H.320 T-1 connections.

Renovo's video conference management software, Video Scheduler, allows users on a video conferencing network to quickly schedule on-demand or future video conferences through a secure and intuitive web-based scheduling system. Username and password authentication provides security against unauthorized use and can be configured to authenticate via a network's existing Active Directory, LDAP, or Shibboleth. This feature saves administrators from the headache of managing an entirely new set of users and their passwords.

Video conference network administrators can assign permissions to different user groups. This allows institutions to administer their video conferencing system to reflect the real life privileges and capabilities of its users. Video Scheduler is completely configurable so that while a network of endpoints grows, it can be configured to accurately represent the needs of that network.
