RANDALL COUNTY, TX SELECTS RENOVO SOFTWARE TO PROVIDE TURNKEY VIDEO VISITATION SOLUTION AS PART OF EXPANSION PROJECT

Edina, Minn, December 15, 2009 – Renovo Software, working with integration and manufacturing partner Southern Folger, has been chosen to upgrade Randall County’s video visitation system as part of a facility expansion project. The jail currently utilizes an analog video visitation system – which has obsolete parts, limited expansion capabilities, and has resulted in difficulties that made upgrading a necessary part of the expansion plan. The facility will utilize Renovo’s turnkey Video Visitation Solution (VisManager™ software and VisStation™ hardware), including 55 IP-based video visitation stations. The facility will utilize VisManager 5.0 to schedule, automate and manage visitation policies, with additional functionality that provides web-based scheduling for officers as well as the public, automated cancellation notifications, digital server recording, viewing and interrupt capabilities, and an ID-card scanner for improved and streamlined visitor registration and check-in. The solution provides the advanced scheduling features the facility needs, as well as the opportunity to expand without expensive hardware upgrades. Renovo’s solution is expected to deploy in the spring of 2010.
