CLARK COUNTY DETENTION CENTER IN LAS VEGAS, NV REVAMPS VIDEO VISITATION ENVIRONMENT WITH RENOVO SOFTWARE’S TURNKEY VIDEO VISITATION SOLUTION

Edina, MN, September 2, 2009 — Officials at Clark County Nevada have chosen to upgrade their existing video visitation system (which was installed in 2000) with an IP-based solution. Renovo Software and integration and hardware partner Accurate Controls were awarded the contract to install 272 IP-based video visitation stations, which will make it of the largest video visitation installations in the United States. VisManager™, the cornerstone of Renovo’s Video Visitation Solution, will manage, automate, and schedule visitation processes. The public scheduling module will allow visits to be easily scheduled from the county’s web site.  Along with the 272 stations, Clark County will purchase licenses for 60 public defenders, which will allow them access to the system. Utilizing  Renovo’s Professional Visitation and Professional Web-scheduling modules, public defenders will be able schedule professional visits with inmates, and conduct visits with inmates, from their desktop PC or laptop. The new solution is scheduled to deploy early in 2010.
