UINTAH COUNTY JAIL IN VERNAL, UT SELECTS RENOVO SOFTWARE TO PROVIDE TURNKEY VIDEO VISITATION SOLUTION FOR NEW FACILITY

Edina, Minn, September 1, 2009 – Renovo Software, along with integration partner Cache Valley Electric, has been selected to provide its turnkey Video Visitation Solution (VisManager™ software and VisStation™ hardware), including 46 IP-based video visitation stations, to the new Uintah County Jail in Vernal, UT. Uintah County chose Renovo and Cache Valley Electric over other competitors due to the proven functionality VisManager 4.0 offers. The solution will enable Uintah County to schedule, automate and manage their visitation policies, allowing them to reallocate staff to more productive tasks and better manage their visitation environment. With video visitation, Uintah County will be able to prevent contraband from entering the complex – and the public scheduling module will eliminate the issues typically associated with a first-come, first-served process. Renovo’s solution will be deployed in December of this year, and will go live with the facility’s opening in the spring of 2010.
