PEORIA COUNTY JAIL IN PEORIA, IL SELECTS RENOVO SOFTWARE TO PROVIDE TURNKEY VIDEO VISITATION SOLUTION

Edina, Minn, August 29, 2009 – Renovo Software has been chosen to provide its turnkey Video Visitation Solution (VisManager™ software and VisManager™ hardware), including 66 IP-based video visitation stations, to Peoria County, IL. Peoria will utilize VisManager 4.0 to schedule, automate and manage its visitation policies, as well as provide web-based public scheduling – which gives the public the convenience of scheduling visits online, in advance. Peoria will retrofit their existing jail by placing video visitation stations in the housing units and in the visitation lobby. By utilizing video visitation, Peoria will now be able to contain visitors in the lobby and prevent contraband from being smuggled into the complex. Renovo’s public scheduling module will eliminate the typical issues associated with a first-come, first-served process. Renovo’s solution will be deployed in October of this year.
