Edina, Minn, March 19, 2009 – Renovo Software has been chosen to provide its turnkey Video Visitation Solution (VisManager™ software and VisStation™ hardware), including 75 IP-based video visitation stations, to Manatee County Jail in Palmetto, FL. Manatee will utilize VisManager 4.0 to schedule, automate and manage its visitation policies, as well as provide web-based public scheduling – which gives the public the convenience of scheduling visits online, in advance. The new visitation center is located just outside the jail’s secure fence line, which will eliminate the possibility for contraband to enter the complex – and Renovo’s public scheduling module will eliminate the typical issues associated with a first-come, first-served process. Renovo’s solution will be deployed in June of this year, in conjunction with the opening of the new visitation center.
